A low-cut hiking model has arrived in Merrell's popular Barefoot footwear* category. The upper features pigskin leather and a highly breathable mesh lining to ensure comfort inside the shoe. It includes a bellows tongue construction to prevent dirt and pebbles from entering, and the outsole is equipped with "Quantum Grip," a new compound grip independently developed by Merrell that offers both excellent grip and durability. We are proposing a new category, "Barefoot Hike," which combines "Barefoot," which prioritizes a barefoot sensation, with Merrell's core identity of "hiking shoes."
